Any one looking for an exciting conservation experience in Africa. The programme allows volunteers the opportunity to assist in the development of this reserve and would be great experience for students studying Veterinary science and other related courses. It is, however, suitable for anyone, and especially those who love big cats as the majority of the work revolves around observing and studying the reserve's pride of lions.

Costs vary depending on how long you want to stay for. Prices start from £1,595 for 3 weeks and include food and accommodation, 24/7 support and backup before you go and throughout your placement, as well as meeting you at the nearest airport. When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a minimal additional cost.

Looking for some hard work that will really make a differnce to hundreds of peoples lives? Build sand dams alongside the locals and create a year round supply of water that will quite litrally save peoples lives.

5 weeks living and working with a rural community outside Machakos.  2 weekends off are included; safari Amboseli National Park and visit Lake Naivasha.

people with a passion for African wildlife, and the chance to work hands on with lions, elephants and black rhinos, as well as the chance to see the rest of the Big 5 in National Parks and wildlife conservation areas. Also canoe the mighty Zambezi River, visit the Victoria Falls.

volunteer travelers interested in hands on work with the African lion at our Victoria Falls lion rehabilitation project. The Victoria Falls is also one of Africa’s greatest tourist spots and offers some of the World’s best white water rafting, helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls, day visits to Botswana’s Chobe National Park which offers the highest population of elephants in Africa.
